We got up early for a walk through the jungle in Penang National Park (Taman Negara Pulau Pinang). First we took a cab to Teluk Bahang. From there we started to walk to Kerachut Beach (Pantai Kerachut). It was still pretty dark when we started. And not yet hot…

An evening at the New Lane Hawker Centre. A good place for streetfood. Very crowded. I liked the atmosphere.

After our visit to the temples, we walked along the beach. It was hot. Finally we reached a nice bar near our hotel with some good refreshments. Then on the streets again, walking to some good streetfood.

Shots from ‘Wat Chaiya Mangkalaram’, a Thai Buddhist Temple in George Town. Inside is the huge reclining Buddha; 33m. long. I liked the statues with the peeling-off gold a lot.

Food with friends; a last evening walk through the streets of George Town; and a last night drinking. Next morning Francis and Sam left the nobeer-clan and drove South again. Björn and me stayed in George Town for one more day.
