On the road from Orsa to Idre in Sweden. We stopped near a small lake to have something to eat. It was a quiet place, on a cold, cloudy day. The only warmth came from the little plants.

Last year, after a meal; something to drink and a conversation about, amongst others, Indians and Mondrian, we bought us some plastic and paint; and put up some Indian-Mondrian-Art in the lake near Graus. After the work was done, we took photo’s; it got dark; and we went home, leaving the art in the lake for the whole world to enjoy.

The lake of Graus (Huesca, North of Spain) is very changing. Two rivers, the Rio Ésera, that runs through the lake, and the Rio Isábena bring water from the Pyrenees. After some rain the lake is filled with water. A few, hot days later it can be half empty again, waiting for the next rain. This strange ‘tide’ leaves it’s traces on the shore.
