“Tussen wal en schip”

“Tussen wal en schip raken” is a Dutch saying. Literally translated it’s: “To end up between the dock and the ship”
It means something like: To get yourself into troubles in between two not so fine possibilities. English equivalent: “Between a rock and a hard place”
