Sometimes I’m asked to shoot photo’s at an event. Most of the time these are theater-, music-, dance-, or musical-shows with kids. It’s big fun. I always capture the show chronological as an illustration of a story. My goal is to catch the atmosphere with over-all shots, characteristic moments, close-ups with emotions, joy, concentration, etc..

Soms maak ik, al dan niet in opdracht, foto’s van evenementen. Meestal zijn het theater, muziek, dans, en/of musical voorstellingen met kinderen voor Trias (centrum voor de kunsten). Erg leuk om te doen. Ik streef er meestal naar om het hele gebeuren chronologisch vast te leggen, zodat het hele verhaal geïllustreerd kan worden. Voor mij is van belang dat ik de sfeer kan pakken met een combinatie van totaalshots; kenmerkende momenten; emotievolle close-ups en foto’s van gezamenlijke concentratie.
