Dieren fotograferen is leuk, meestal.
Most of the time it’s fun to photograph Animals. It might turn you into a friendly hunter a bit, although most animals who are within reach, are locked in. In a Zoo I’m looking for strange moments, or weird details; or the essence of an animal. The snake in the next shot would be less sinister, when shot fully visible and sharp. I also try to capture the sadness and the psycho torture of being locked in.

This one is not from a Zoo, but payed us a visit while we were having breakfast on our trip to Curaçao in 2008.
Bijzondere dierenfoto’s!
Danks.
shoot in other perspective…very interesting view
Thank you, Gus.
Loved all of these. The photo of the bird with the feint visual of the cage in the background captured your intention with the whole layout nicely. Angle on the whale photo is fabulous. The crown down reminds me of a photo I saved from The Enchanted Nature Facebook page which you should certainly consider submitting pieces to, if not follow. I grew up next to an animal sanctuary and am particularly fond of snakes. Great shots.
Must have missed this; thanks for the appreciation!
nice portraits
Thanks.
