White Water

White Water | SONY RX1 | Zeiss Sonar 35mm. | 1/2000 | F2.8 | ISO 100

Water always fascinates me. It moves; always finds it’s own way; can be hard; can be soft; can be subtle; can be overwhelming; it’s transparent and reflective at the same time; and it plays beautiful, sparkling games with light. That’s it; shut up and shoot.

Water fascineert me enorm.

  1. Harrie, I’ve really enjoyed looking through these images >>> haha! not sure if I’ve found myself (!!!!) but I must say they really do showcase your photographic eye and talents – very impressive! Adrian šŸ™‚

    • Thanks a lot, Adrian, for going through all of this and the compliments in your replies. šŸ™‚ For me the challenge was to find out if it was possible to bring some order in a complete chaos… And it did, and it made me more conscious of what I was doing. It was also fun to write a little, essential text about the different categories, to see if they made any sense. To be honest, I sometimes really don’t know if a shot is an abstract or a minimal, but it doesn’t matter because it wasn’t meant to be all that strict in the first place. And it did not change my way of taking photo’s.. as said, I still go out as empty-headed as possible, to meet some interesting, fascinating things and “blast away at them”, If I may quote you.. šŸ™‚

Ps, I was wondering if those little texts made any sense to you?

      • Oh yes, they certainly make sense, and its great to find that we share many opinions/views so much, its very good to be in touch! Blast away at them? Haha! yes you can ALWAYS quote me!!! But that’s it, going out empty headed and just looking at / soaking up our surroundings. A šŸ™‚

          • Blasting right now, my friend ….. šŸ™‚ šŸ™‚ šŸ™‚
