Aekingerzand, Kale Duinen

Aekingerzand, or ‘Kale Duinen’ (Naked Dunes) is one of our sand-drift-heathlands; and it is part of ‘Nationaal Park Drents-Friese Wold’. It’s in the north of the Netherlands on the border of the provinces Drenthe ‘and Friesland just under a town called Appelscha. It’s protected nature. Good for walking. I liked the strange feeling of a ‘beach without a sea’.

  1. Well said. Beach without sea. What a great landscape! I really like it. Happy Weekend! :d

Part 2 and part 7 are my favorites.

    • Thanks, Malin. In prt7 the sun tried to open the clouds; but did not succeed; despite a few short moments.

  3. My favorite ones are 5 and 7… and 3 comes right after… 😉
