The next day it was dark and cloudy. We decided to take a trip by train. We drove to Balaguer-station and stayed on the train till the last stop in La Pobla de Segur.

  1. I love European trains and the system. They work well and have an aesthetic unparalleled

  2. Great photo series. I also like to shoot from train (buses or from the car). It gets an extra dimension in the images, then a bit of train life also gets caught on, and it also captures the velocity by. And you have time for so much more. 🙂

    • Thank you, Antonia. Plenty of time; I took a lot of shots 🙂

      • Yes, I know. You get dizzy in the head to go through them, but it was worth it. 🙂

  3. Part 7 and part 10, my favorites…
The part 7 one brought me back to a day, many years ago, when I crossed those mountains… i was hitch-hiking with a friend and we got picked up by a crazy German guy who drove incredibly fast in spite the cliff and the many curves… It turned out to be one of the scariest days of my life!!! But life being what it is, I can only cherish the memory today…
And I also remember having found it very beautiful…

    • Yes, there are people that enjoy driving their cars as fast as they can. Non-specialists like us get the creeps. Best thing is to surrender and think: why would this guy drive himself to pieces; he probably knows what he’s doing.

  4. I like the documentary and very dynamic style of this series. Have a happy day! 🙂
