Me and a Tree (and some reflections)

If you like Photography and Reflections, go to: for a once in a lifetime exhibition. 🙂

  1. The surrealism in this is great,the tree against the reflection is what makes the whole image work
    Thank you Harrie for visiting

    To release and let go… as if there’s no reason holding on to something that is no longer there. That is what I see in this image.

    And a quote for you, Harrie;

    ‘Some of us think holding on makes us strong, but sometimes it is letting go.'(Herman Hesse)

    And another thing;

    I’m trying to click on this in order to view your image a bit larger, but I get this info; “404 The requested page could not be located on this blog. We recommend using the navigation bar or search form above to get back on track.
    Return to the Front Page”.

    • For the post: I had some troubles getting back to ‘the first page’, after a larger view. I have done a re-post; and now it works like it used to do. Let me know if it still does not work the way it should be, for you.

      I remember that I was in a good mood; on my way to the nearest mailbox, to post a letter. I had the camera with me, because the light was sunny-bright; and I might run into some fresh reflections; with your assignment in mind. And then suddenly that old Christmas-tree was there. Strange; half way February (bit surreal, as Sheldon wrote). ‘Me and a tree’, popped-up and made me laugh; thinking of (y)our first assignment. So I took this shot; but did not use it for the reflection-assignment, because the reflection is not the main subject here. Your interpretation was not on my mind then; But I can understand it. Thanks for the quote as well!
