  1. Are you looking ground or is that just a metaphor. Either way the shot is great. The shadow casting gives the picture depth. Great work

    • Literally the trees are losing ground because the rain is washing away the soil. That’s why the roots are naked in the air. In the gesture of the tree is that it tries to ‘hold on’. A metaphor for a ‘state of mind’.

    I’ve been thinking… I believe there’s a purpose in losing ground, to see everything from another (or a different) perspective. There’s always reasons… and maybe a start on something new and we never lose our roots.
