Vlieland is one of our Dutch islands in the North. It takes a 1 hour and 30 minutes ferry-trip over the ‘Waddenzee’ to get there. The ‘Waddenzee’ is quite shallow and a lot of it runs dry at low tide. There are no cars allowed on the isle, which makes it a quiet place to visit.

  1. Beauty is as it was captured. I would give anything to have this in my backyard. I have the beach but nothing like this for inspiration. A peace like this is beauty at its best.

    • Thank you, Sheldon. A beach doesn’t sound that uncomfortable … 😉

The photos convey a sense of tranquillity, aided by the masterful placement of the few, key elements. Wonderful, my friend.
