    I say: I get this sad feeling…
There’s this willingness to be free.. but for some reason one can only accept and wait.

    • I say: Well, I was on the ferry. It was a grey day and there were only a few people outside on the deck. I liked to watch over the sea and the enormous space onto the horizon. I got tired and sat down on one of the benches. And then the view was gone, blocked by the metal fence. Annoying. But of course the fence has to be there due to the safety-regulations; And because the ferry-owner can not be held responsible when someone drops of his boat. And then I decided to take this shot of the fence with the hand-rail blocking the horizon. I was not sad about this form of ‘not free’, because it is just as it is; like getting wet when it rains. X

I say: Thank you for sharing your story behind the image, Harrie.

I believe there’s a reason in what we choose to photograph, how we are photographing the things we see and why… I think about this from time to time, what is it that make us photograph certain things? Just my thoughts tonight (and I’m thinking too much sometimes, I know). X

    • Not in this case; read my reply to Malin’s comment above. Thanks for your reaction, Sheldon.
