  1. Great shots, Harri, especially the last one.

  2. I love the direction of this shot. I walk toward the storm, not away.

  3. fantastic skies. I love the winding, silver ribbon of road in the last. I love monochrome!
Thanks so much for your follow and for your reading of some of my tales!!

Yes, that last shot is tremendous my friend. Mostly that comes down to the photographer wielding the camera and the skilful post processing, but perhaps a little is due to the rendering from the lens. That’s very fine, although with a focal length of 55mm, you could also have taken it with your Planar – or my FE55, had I been along 🙂

But back to the photo: the band of winding, dark clouds at the top makes the photo. With it you have a dark band in the light portion of the image to complement the light band (of the road) in the dark portion. Beautiful.

    • Thank you, Amigo! Well, the Planar was not in the bag and you were in KL, so what could I do… 😉 Last night I was thinking that the dark cloud is as important as the white road; so I agree with you. CHeers!

  5. Fantastic series , every one of them
they have very natural balance ( even storms have their balance )
very beautiful (of course i don’t have to say too – that glowing winding way is most special)
