1. What a battle that must have been. Once, at some point. Nice in black and white.

    • These rocks were around a small cove; the battle must have been with the ocean.

  2. Totally love this piece. just got home from hiking Bear Creek Canyon here in the Rockies. So beautiful. Great picture to return to.

  3. This is so beautiful, Harrie…I always had intense feeling for rocks… Thank you!

    • Thanks, amigo; those were some fabulous rocks out there; while shooting around with only 1400 ISO in the middle of the night 🙂

  4. This is absolutely fascinating… I have photographed exactly the same rocks, back in 1995. On slidefilm. Have to scan this so I can show it – this is really fascinating! All the way to Iceland, two photographers not aware of each other with several years in between – and we find the same motive. 🙂

    • 🙂 That sure is fascinating! I like to think that time is less important when it’s about content. Always nice to meet someone who is on familiar wavelengths! By the way, I met you this morning as a fellow-‘Me and the Tree’-participator at Malin Hellesø (family?; married?..) blog. Cheers!

        • Good for you!; both of you, as far as I can tell down here from the Netherlands.. 🙂

          • Hehe… That’s also my oppinion. 🙂

  5. Once again, fascinating rock formations. Nicely captured.

You’re right to advise us to view it full screen—it makes a difference! A busy shot like this can be hard to capture. Well done!

    • Thanks, Marso. This one has a lot more fine detail full screen.
