    Very nice!!

  2. I like this a lot. To me the roof looks almost like a child’s rough crayon drawing of the hills behind, done on corrugated paper. Very striking image.

    • Thank you. The shed and the hills in the back certainly have some sort of connection; and the blue sky matches the blue doors.

  3. Great one Harrie– love the color contrast and semi-abstractness of this image.
What’s interesting is that it still has that strong sense of place that’s in most of your Iceland images.

    • Thank you, John. I like what you say about ‘sense of place’. On 26/27 April 2013, I posted ‘Abstracts from Landmannalaugar’. I like those two a lot because they are more abstract than this one, but they still have that sense of place. From 6-8 May 2013 I’ve posted some abstracts that were also taken in Iceland; but they could have been taken anywhere. I prefer the ones that still show ‘Iceland’; although I also like that true abstracts are independent. Cheers.

  4. Wow! Absolutelya fantasticimage. Love how colourful you show the harmony between man and nature. 🙂
