Sweden, Idre Fjäll prt2

Turning her Back on a Troll | Nikon D700 | Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G VR | 170mm. | 1/1000 | F6.3 | ISO 400
From Idre Fjäll we made a short trip over the ‘Trollvägen’. It was cloudy, rainy, windy and cold. Amazing field with piled stones that had something to do with trolls, but I never really understood. We didn’t climb the Nipfjället and soon went back for a hot coffee.

Wonderful, Harrie — I’m quite jealous!
Thanks, Evan.
Wonderful!
Thank you very much!
This is a great series. I love the range of colours. 🙂
Thank you!
Very nice, I get the Scandinavian mountain feeling. But I have seen too few of the Swedish mountains. Must go to Idre.
Thank you, Bente! It’s beautiful up there.
I have been there too. 🙂 Great images, especially “Near the Trollvägen prt2”.
And I have also photographed from the same spot as you (your image Horizontal Division).
That’s fun! If time does not exist, we have already met 🙂 I liked the sloping of the landscape and the colors a lot. For the shots; I have the same fav., together with “White Road”. I have a weakness for lonely, endless roads. Enjoy the day!
Yes, that one was great too. And I understand your weakness for lonely and endless roads.
Why does that not surprise me. 😉
😉
That long lonely road certainly took you to some fabulous places!
That’s for sure!
