Yes; in 2009 we did a ‘self-drive’ holiday in Sweden. From Göteborg we drove to Kopparberg and stayed there for a few days; then to Grönklitt (near Orsa) and then to Idrefjäll (just above Idre). We stayed in cottages in between a lot of other tourists and explored the surroundings on our own. What I loved most were the endless roads, through endless woods and an endless lake every now and then. (And an abandoned koppermine; a Björnparken; canoeing on a silent lake; Fulufjälletparken; and a stone-piled troll-field on a mountainside near Idrefjäll). I had a fine time in Sweden and i can understand your tight connection with nature. Maybe I’ll do a few more posts of that trip; with a tree-special for you 🙂 Thanks for the visit; enjoy the day!
Thank you for your answer, Harrie. Sounds like a very interesting trip, I have been to some of the places too. And I’m looking forward to the tree-special post from you. 🙂
Horror. Crime…
There was nobody around. But traces like in the shot make you wander: what kind of place is this. see you!
So you have been in Dalarna, Sweden? 🙂
I really like this image!
