On a hot afternoon

I liked the composition of this fall a lot. The vertical above; then the horizontal; and then the two oposite diogonals. And the bath underneath was also great and refreshing.

I’ll be silent for a week or five. My son and I are heading for Tercui in Spain this morning. The rest of the family arrives in August. In Tercui is no internet. May be I’ll be able to do some posts when we are somewhere near a WiFi spot; but that won’t be regularly. A good time for all of you and when I’m back there will be a lot Spain to view. Here some randoms of last year; Cheers Harrie.

Het zal een poosje stil zijn op m’n blog. Mijn zoon en ik vertrekken naar Tercui in Spanje deze ochtend. De rest van de familie volgt begin augustus. Er is geen internet in Tercui. Misschien dat ik af en toe een bericht kan posten als we in de buurt van een WiFi-spot zijn. Een fijne tijd voor iedereen; en als ik terug ben zal er veel Spanje te zien zijn hiero. A familiar work of art, created by Peter Smith at NDSM, is a huge globe made of empty, plastic, garbage bottles. All found on the streets. It now floats around on ‘Het IJ’ in Amsterdam, referring to the Great Pacific garbage patch in the North Pacific Ocean.

Een ander Cradle to Cradle kunstwerk is gemaakt door Peter Smith in een grote loods op NDSM in Amsterdam noord. Het is een enorme wereldbol gemaakt van lege, plastic, zwerfvuil flessen. Het drijft nu rond op het IJ en het verwijst naar de drijvende plastic-soep in de Grote Oceaan.
